DR. SREE REDDY

Founder & President

Dr. Sree Reddy graduated from veterinary school in 1997 and obtained his Masters Degree in 2000. He has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2000, and moved to Florida in 2004. He enjoys treating all pets but is passionate about holistic medicine, acupuncture, LASER therapy, and laparoscopy. He is a member of the FVMAAVMAPHVMAVIN and a Committee member of our Pasco County Animal Services Advisory Committee.

Briefly, the committee acts in an advisory capacity to the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners in matters involving the animal population within the county by furnishing information, advice and counsel to the Board in respect to the appropriate means and methods by which the county may adequately provide for protection of its animal population, while at the same time protecting the citizens of the county from unwarranted intrusions by uncontrolled animals.

SANDHYA BOYAPALLE DVM, PHD

CO-FOUNDER

    Sandhya received in Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and received her PHD in Microbiology from Iowa State University in 2005. She is the author of numerous research articles and publications with a specialization in infectious diseases. She was a post-doctorate fellow from 2005-2008 at the Moffit Cancer Center and Research institute and has been a faculty member for the college of Public Health at the University of South Florida since 2016. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters and her dog, Zeus.

MELANIE CALDERON

Secretary

Melanie is an animal lover and advocate. She moved to Tampa four years ago from New York to be closer to family. She has worked in the veterinary field for over 15 years now. She is a proud fur mom of 3 rescues, 2 dogs (Chibi Fox and Prince Rukus) and 1 cat (‘Dustina’). During her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with family.

Guadalupe was born and raised in Florida and has been a member of the Hermione Duncan Reddy Foundation since it was first founded. When she’s not working, she’s with family, shopping, eating, or sleeping. She has two adorable pets, a Shit-Zu named Luna and a bearded dragon named Chip. She is a very family-oriented gal and is a soon-to-be mom of three.

PJ MEREDITH

PJ moved to Florida from England in 2007. She began working for Dr Reddy in February of 2008 and fell in love with the veterinary field. She has worked with Dr Reddy off and on since then and even though she has had a change in her career, her love for animals has brought her to join our non profit. She understands first hand just how important our non profit can be for those families in need. 

PJ has 3 cats (Salem, Snuggles and Saint) 3 dogs (Luna, Oakley and Maddie) and 1 hamster (Winter) One day she dreams of living on a farm and rescuing as many animals in need that she can.

Originally from Tampa, Fl, Aksheta Kanuganti is now a Biomedical Engineering student at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. Throughout high school, she was an avid speech and debater with a keen interest in Medical Sciences. Therefore, after graduation, she hopes to go to medical school. Furthermore, not only is she on the Dartmouth Emergency Medical Services team, but she also writes for the Undergraduate Journal of Science and is a dancer/choreographer for Raaz, a South Asian Dance Troupe.

Aditi Kanuganti

 Aditi is on the principals’ honor roll of her school and is a member of the National Honor Society. She has participated in the Health Occupations Students of America as the Vice President for Veterinary Science, as well as been a piano student for Royal Conservatory Progamme. In her free time, she enjoys playing varsity tennis, dancing variations of Indian Classical Dance, and playing with her dog, Zeus.
